OUR TEAM

You will receive the highest quality of instruction at Greg Roy's Martial Arts Academy.

Our instructors love what they do, and it shows. Each one is certified and obtains continuing education credits to keep up with the latest policies and teaching methods, ensuring safety and enhanced learning.

Our academy requires that all instructors in the academy maintain a current CPR and First Aid certification. We also perform background checks.

Our academy places a high priority on protecting the safety of it's members.

MR. EUBANKS

He obtained a 4th Degree Black Belt in 10 years. Now as an instructor with a 5th Degree Black Belt, he has an outstanding 30 years of experience training and 20 years of teaching. He has trained with and competed against many masters, grandmasters, and senior masters. He is most proud of all the people he has trained over the years.

MRS. ROY

Co-owner of Greg Roy’s Martial Arts Academy alongside her husband, Greg Roy. She has been training and teaching for 23 years and is a Senior 5th Degree Black Belt.

MR. GOFF

Senior 4th Degree Black Belt with 14 years of training, and 12 years of teaching experience. He is Grandmaster Roy’s highest-ranking student after Mrs. Roy. He is the School Manager for Grandmaster Roy and is also the leader of the Instructor Team and the Demonstration Team.

MR. HARRIS

4th Degree Black Belt Instructor and Bo Staff Instructor. He has 9 years of training experience with 6 years of teaching. He participates on the Demonstration Style Team, judges at tournaments, and enjoys teaching and learning new forms.

MR. DURHAM

As a 4th Degree Black Belt, he has been training for 10 years and has been a certified instructor for 6. He is the head of Boyd Buchanan TaeKwonDo and Brainerd Baptist TaeKwonDo Clubs.

MS. GOFF

Adult certified instructor with a Senior 4th Degree Black Belt and 14 years of experience training. She is a passionate instructor who has been teaching for 9 years. She is currently earning a degree in Exercise Science and pursuing further education in Physical Therapy.

MR. FARAH

4th Degree Black Belt Junior instructor who has been training for 8 years and teaching for 6. He has won various tournament medals and enjoys extreme performance tricking and hyper martial arts.

MR. WILSON

Junior Instructor and Weapons Instructor. He holds a 4th Degree Black Belt with 9 years of training, 7 of which have been in weapons, and 6 years of teaching experience. He holds several medals in TaeKwonDo tournaments, demonstrating his gained confidence in being “bully-proof.” He has shown his skill off in multiple UTC Mocs halftime shows and is part of Greg Roy's Martial Arts Demo Team.

MRS. WILKES

Earning her 1st degree black belt was a lifelong dream but that hasn’t stopped her. She is now a 3rd Degree Black Belt with tournament experience, a certified instructor, and proud parent of 3 children who also train at the academy. She has 6 years of training experience and an amazing 16 years of teaching experience in the classroom and 3 years on the mats.

MR. HUDSON

As a second generation student of Grandmaster Greg Roy, he is a certified instructor and a 2nd Degree Black Belt with over 5 years of training and 4 years teaching. He is the head of the weapons program and instrumental in expanding the program to more weapons including the Sai and Nunchucks.

As a Junior Certified Instructor going on 5 years, she is a 3rd Degree Black Belt as well as an accomplished Bo-staff and Sword instructor and is part of Greg Roy’s Martial Arts Academy Demo team.

As a Certified Junior Instructor she has spent 2 of her 3 years in Martial Arts teaching. She is an accomplished Gold Medalist in competition as a 2nd Degree Level 4 Black Belt. She also helps promote the school on Greg Roy’s Martial Arts Academy Demo team.
